Regular dental check-ups let our dentists spot and treat problems early — from decay to gum disease and oral-health concerns. Most adults are seen every 6–12 months.

Regular check-ups at Netherfield Smile Centre help keep your teeth and gums healthy and let us catch problems early, while they are still simple to treat. At your examination, your dentist checks your teeth, gums and soft tissues, and may take X-rays where needed — all of which comes under NHS Band 1 (£27.90).
How often you are seen depends on your dental health. Many adults come every six to twelve months, while others benefit from more frequent visits. Alongside the examination, your dentist can offer tailored advice on cleaning and diet to help you look after your teeth at home. Keeping up with routine appointments is one of the easiest ways to spot small issues early and avoid bigger, more involved treatment later on.

Band 1 covers: Check-up, diagnosis, X-rays, scale & polish. Whatever treatment you receive within a single band, you pay just one charge per course of treatment.
